7 km Run made easier

Dear Guys,
Just thought about sharing something new & unique on the fitness front with you. Most of you know that I have a great passion for running & have always believed in running with my own fundas & concepts in mind. Sometimes, I run 3 km's, sometimes 7 & any number that comes to my mind. Just recently, I thought of making it a practise to run 7 km's everyday to just start my preparations for the Full Marathon here in Mumbai on Jan 17th,2011. Please let me know what you feel about this & if it does help you. You need'nt run 7 km after reading this, it can be any number or any workout that comes to your mind. In short, Just trying to help you plan good workouts & make them easy for you.

November 25th,2010

Ran in 5 Parts at 4 different speed levels in 43 minutes 49 seconds
Speed: 8,9,10,11,11
Distance: 1.31 km's,1.50 km's(2.81 km's),1.67 km's(4.48 km's),1.82 km's(6.30 km's),.70 km's(7 km's)
Calories: 126,142(268),155(423),170(590),67(657)

November 26th
Today, I Divided my 7 km run in 8 parts (8 different speed levels) & completed the same in 37 minutes 58 seconds.
Speed: 10,11,12,10.5,13,10,12.5,14.5 ( for 1mt 58 secs),6 (till the end of 45 minutes)
Distance: .81,1.72(.91),2.73(1.01),3.59(.86),4.67(1.08),5.51(.84),6.54(1.03),7.00(....46),7.83(.83)
Calories: 77,156(79),253(97),334(81),433(99),511(78),606(95),648(42),695(47)

November 27th
7km run made easier part 3. Ran .50 km's at 14 different intervals
Speed:12,10,8,11,9,13,10,8,11.5,10,12.5,9,10.5,8
Time: 2:30,3:00(5:30),3:45(9:15),2:45(12),3:15(15:15),2:15(17:30),3:00(20:30),3:45(24:15),2:40(27:05),3:00(30:05),2:20(32:35),3:15(35:50),2:50(38:40),3:45(42:25)
Calories Burnt: 656 cals

The calories burnt are according to my body weight :-).... Making the world a fitter place

December 5th

7 km run made easier part 4: Ran 400 meters at 17 different speed levels and completed the run in 41 minutes 58 seconds. The average speed being 10 kmph. This has been one of my easiest 7 km runs till date.

December 6th:
After a pretty tiring day, running 7 km’s was going to be a challenge but what has to be done, has to be done. So I decided to make this run even easier than yesterday & completed 7km’s today in 44 minutes 52 seconds. I decided to divide my workout in 2 parts of 3.5 km’s each & again divided the run in 18 parts of 400 meters each

Completed the 1st part of 3.5 km’s in 23 minutes 45 seconds
Completed the 2nd part of 3.5 km’s in 21 minutes 7 seconds
Speed Levels: 8,9,10,8,9,10,8,9,10,12,8,10,13,9,11,8,10,12
Calories Burnt: 660 calories
